The general rule for LED screens is 1 meter of distance for every 1mm of pixel pitch. For a P2.5 display, the "sweet spot" for viewing starts at 2.5 meters (approx. 8 feet). At this distance, the individual pixels blend into a smooth, continuous image, making it perfect for conference rooms and retail storefronts.
Yes. Unlike a 98" LCD screen which is one single piece of glass, a 98" LED display is made of smaller, modular tiles. However, because these tiles have no borders (bezels), they lock together to create a 100% seamless visual surface. There are no "black lines" crossing your content, regardless of the size.
Commercial P2.5 LED displays typically offer 800 to 1,200 nits of brightness. A standard home TV usually maxes out at 300 nits. This means the LED display remains vibrant and easy to read even in rooms with heavy sunlight or high-intensity overhead office lighting.
To achieve a native 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at a P2.5 pitch, the screen actually needs to be quite large (roughly 30 feet wide). On a 98" cabinet, you will typically achieve a High-Definition result. However, the internal controller can scale 4K input sources to fit the screen perfectly, maintaining high color depth and contrast.
Most modern P2.5 displays are designed for Full Front Service. The modules are magnetic; if a single pixel fails, you can use a vacuum suction tool to swap out the small module from the front in seconds. This allows the display to be mounted flush against a wall without needing a rear access alley.
